Our film tells this story through a modern day Bill Wilson: a recovered alcoholic and drug addict (clean and sober since 1996 and now a cancer survivor) and a passionate 12-Step advocate – Gary Kimble—who was a successful actor in Broadway musicals when his addiction bottomed out.

 His struggle to achieve and maintain sobriety was and continues to be arduous. Not unlike Bill W., he possesses a keen intellect and deep capacity for self—exploration which compels him to continue embracing the 12-Step way of life, surrendering to higher power, mentoring others and taking personal inventory as the pathway to maintaining long term recovery.
